United Youth Outreach is hiring a Director of Operation to provide oversight of day-to-day Operations of United Youth Outreach to include oversight of facility, finance, administration, and implementation of strategy. The successful applicant should be entrepreneurial in their work and focus, administratively inclined, demonstrate proven ministry & leadership ability, and have experience in building, training, releasing, and overseeing an ongoing and growing team
The Director of Operations must have a heart for evangelism, discipleship, and the ability to empower and release people into ministry. Experience and ability in overseeing teams and effective communication in multiple settings. The minimum of an undergraduate degree in Business Administration or similar education, with leadership experience in a church/parachurch setting desired.
United Youth Outreach exists to reach every youth in Canada with the Gospel. We do this as we empower missional leaders to impact youth with the Gospel. United Youth Outreach operates 9 ministries that work in and throughout Western Canada.
The applicant will be responsible for the entire running of the day-to-day operations, including partnering in strategic planning, marketing planning, administration, financial oversight, human resources, and fund-raising. The primary purpose of the Director of Operations is to give administrative oversight and direction to each member of the United Youth Outreach team, provide accountability regarding their job descriptions and work practices and to work together with the Executive Team, staff, United Youth Outreach Program Directors to provide support, stability, mobilization and structure in the area of operational direction and administration for accomplishing the vision and mandate of United Youth Outreach. This position works to track the United Youth Outreach Team in the vision they set for the ministry programs and in the growth and development of United Youth Outreach’s ministries.
An administrative role in any ministry can be modeled after the role of the deacon or elder in the church. A deacon is one who is called out by God and functions as an ambassador of Christ to represent His message, life, power, and authority on earth through service and practical direction. Your role with United Youth Outreach is both practical and spiritual and needs to reflect a life filled with Christ that is devoted to Him through your service and administration.
Qualified candidates will be able to demonstrate a commitment to the values and Statement of Belief of United Youth Outreach including championing and operating in the works of the Holy Spirit to equip, empower and share the Gospel.

This a permanent full-time position with a salary ranging between $44,196 and $67,980, according to experience and education. 37.5 Hour working week Monday to Friday with additional hours at weekends to accomplish programming. Benefits include – 20% annual performance-based bonus + Health, Drugs, Vision & Dental.
