Job Synopsis

The newly created supporter relations specialist position holds responsibility for relationship development with an identified portfolio of MCC donors from across the province with the goal of increasing revenue support for MCC.

This role will focus on deepening and expanding relationships with individuals, families and businesses, enabling increased understanding of shared values, motivations and intersections that will lead to strengthened partnerships between MCC and this cohort of supporters.

This job requires an individual who thrives in a role in which making meaningful connections, deepening relationships through excellent stewardship, listening well, staying curious and synthesizing program content in compelling ways are key priorities.

The supporter relations specialist is part of a vibrant fundraising and engagement team that is responsible for revenue generation, communication and engagement with supporters in alignment with the relief, development, and peace work of an international organization with programming both globally and locally.

The position blends requirements to work typical office hours (Mon to Fri) with some flexibility to work non-standard hours (occasional availability for evening and weekend attendance at events approx. 5-6 times per year), some longer days due to travel within the province, and the possibility of occasional (2-3 times per year) overnight commitments.

Regular travel (up to 60%) within the southern and western parts of the province is required with a vehicle supplied and mileage compensation for occasional use of own vehicle.  A hybrid home/office work schedule is possible.

This is a full-time, salaried position with a competitive benefits package.
