Come and share your expertise! We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to serve on the Admin team with us. This is a chance for you to use your skills to support Christian charities across Canada to become as healthy and effective as possible.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO IN THIS ROLE:
Support all our department heads in the various administrative duties as needed. You will model how the administrative function is included as a vital component of Christian ministry.
Support our whole team producing reports, handling petty cash, taking minutes at meetings, sending eblasts to our members, and carrying out general office duties.
Answer important questions over the phone for our member charities. You will identify questions that can’t be answered from our established resources, and may even offer prayers and blessings to those who reach out.
A wide variety of office tasks including process mail and packages ensuring everything gets where it need to go. You’ll also maintain our supply inventory, update our website, and answer the phones.
Represent Christian ministries in the sector through your interactions with members, and all other people that reach out to CCCC. You will be a frontline representative of our team to many people.

You’re going to be doing a lot of reading and writing, keeping important records and making sure we have what we need to run smoothly. We need to know that you are accurate and always planning ahead.

You are always professional and know how best to represent an organization through appropriate communication both within and outside the organization. You have sound judgement and discretion which means your work is done with excellence.
You have experience with Christian ministries, charities, and the CCCC Standards. You also need to be driven to learn more all the time, which we will give you the time to do.
Passionate about charity issues
You are motivated to support Christian ministries and want to help them fulfill their missions. You might have served on a board or volunteered some other way, but you have a heart for service and doing important, meaningful work.
- College diploma or equivalent or at least 2 years’ experience in office administration.
- A high level of proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Google Workspace.
- Excellent research, project management, strategic thinking, and social media skills.
- Experience working with Christian charities as an employee, professional service provider, or volunteer.
- The ability to grasp new concepts quickly and confidence in their ability to grow (continuous learner)
- Strong interest in serving people and solving problems.
- Good knowledge of how Christian faith, life, and practice can be infused into the administration of a Christian church or ministry.
- Agreement with CCCC’s Statement of Faith and Community Covenant

This position will require the incumbent to be in the office 2-3 days a week with the option to be remote, working within the candidate’s home office, for the other days.
