Description

 Executive Director Profile

At Atwell, our mission extends beyond supporting those facing unexpected pregnancies or sexual health concerns.  We are driven by the concept of community, in which everyone is treated with the dignity and compassion afforded to all who are made in God’s image.

For over a decade, we have sought to embody this concept by providing quality medical, educational, and social services in Hamilton and Oakville.  Atwell’s client-led, holistic approach reflects Christ’s love and compassion, touching the lives of our clients and everyone who encounters our organization.  In an era marked by disinterest and social division, when community bonds are easily frayed, the world needs community-oriented institutions that boldly reanimate the gifts of the Christian faith and demonstrate faithfulness through a sustainable, long-term presence.

Atwell’s vision is to create a society where no one must face an unexpected pregnancy, sexual health challenges, and post-abortion experiences alone.  This vision guides our mission of providing holistic support to women and men facing unexpected pregnancies, sexual health challenges, and post-abortion realities through education, information, practical resources, and emotional support.   Our work is informed and shaped by the compassion of Jesus Christ and a belief that all human beings are made in the image of God.
