In this executive role you will combine your legal skills with a compelling vision to make a difference in the world. This is an opportunity to join the director team of a large, faith-based, not-for-profit organization. Your leadership skills, legal knowledge, and collaborative approach will be used to direct the supports and services relating to workforce management.
Christian Horizons is seeking to add expertise of legal counsel specific to Human Resources as it pertains to employment and labour relations. Reporting to General Counsel, this position will play a key leadership role by providing advice on employment matters for both union and non-union workplaces.
You are the ideal candidate if you have:
- had a legal career in employment-related matters for at least 6 years
- successfully managed progressively complex employment issues for a large workforce
- worked for (or have strong connections to) a not-for-profit or charitable organization
- maintained a member in good standing status with the Law Society of Ontario
