School Relationship Manager

Position: School Relationship Manager
Classification: Salary – Part Time (Program Management) - This is a part time role at 25 hours/ week
Reports to: Key Relations & Strategy Director
Preferred Start Date: August 2025
Location: The ideal candidate is located in Southwestern Ontario, Lower Mainland British Columbia, or Central Alberta.
Work Model: Candidates in the Greater Hamilton Area are expected to work from our Hamilton office 2-3 days per week in a hybrid arrangement. Candidates outside of this area would work remotely.

Position Summary:

The School Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with schools across Canada. Through promotional activities – like school and classroom presentations (student learning) and fundraising projects (annual campaign)– the School Relationship Manager will build communities of people who are passionate about the mission and vision of EduDeo Ministries.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. School Relationships (90%)

   1. Execute a comprehensive school engagement plan to expand and deepen EduDeo’s relationships with Canadian Christian schools and Christian school associations.

   2. Promote school programs (including the Annual Campaign, Co-Impact, and Discover and Learn) through:
      1. Conferences: workshops, attendance, sponsorship
      2. Class/school presentations
      3. Quarterly newsletter, social media
      4. Personal meetings
   3. Implement EduDeo's school programs.
      1. Annual campaign
         • Research and build out the annual campaign
         • Conduct class presentations, workshops 
         • Assist Marketing in their design of campaign promotional materials (name, tagline, posters, postcards, video, webpage) 
      2. Facilitate Discover and Learn
         • Identify and steward potential participants for Discover & Learn, EduDeo’s annual professional development trip for educators
         • Lead the Discover & Learn team
      3. Ongoing communication with schools to educate, celebrate, and report back on school impact through:
         • Personal emails, one-on-one meetings, presentations
         • Personalized videos
         • Regular e-newsletter (“The Chrysalis”) 
         • Blog posts
         • Updates as needed to edudeo.com/schools
   4. Represent EduDeo at events as needed.
      
      
2. Participate on the EduDeo Team: (10%)
   1. Be an active participant of the Key Relations Team (KRT).
   2. Work with KRT staff to ensure gift acknowledgements are sent in a timely manner.
   3. Be an active participant in team meetings, etc.
   4. Stay up to date with industry best practices, trends, tools, and developments in job-related fields.
   5. Provide assistance, as requested, at various significant organizational events.
   6. Continue to grow through professional development opportunities.
   7. Complete any other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director.

Qualities of the Ideal Candidate:

• Strong commitment to Jesus Christ and His church.
• Strong commitment to the vision, mission, values, and goals of EduDeo Ministries.
• High self-motivation, ambition, and adaptability. 
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as an educator or in a mission-related role.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Excellent presentation and administrative skills.
• A minimum of a B.Ed ., or bachelor's degree in a related field. Provincial teacher certification and / or Christian School Teacher Certificate (CSTC) is an asset. 
• An understanding of pedagogies – specifically Project Based Learning (PBL) and Teaching for Transformation (TFT) is an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe and Salesforce is an asset.
• International experience is an asset.
• Ideally, reside in a geographical area central to Canadian Christian schools (Lower Mainland British Columbia, Central Alberta, Southwestern Ontario).
• A valid driver's licence, access to a vehicle, and ability to travel. 
• Domestic Travel: attendance at key educator or leader conferences hosted by Christian Schools Canada (CSC) and Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) a week in each CSC “centre” outside your geographical area (Alberta, BC, or Ontario), plus local travel throughout the year to Christian schools in your geographic area. 
• Global Travel: approximately one week internationally per year.
