Come and share your expertise! We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our mission. This is a chance for you to leverage your advertising and social media skills to support Christian charities across Canada in becoming as exemplary, healthy, effective, and Christian in practice as possible.

Are you familiar with the challenges charities face and have ideas on how they should be dealing with them? HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO IN THIS ROLE:
Develop and implement marketing plans. You’ll implement CCCC marketing plans that support membership growth, member engagement, and awareness of CCCC’s programs, services, and resources. You’ll own marketing initiatives from start to finish, though you’ll have the support of a skilled team of colleagues. You’ll also gather, track, and report on marketing metrics and campaign results to support decision-making, continuous improvement, and the optimization of tactical execution
Connect with external marketing and creative partners coordinating tactical requests, timelines, deliverables, and feedback while escalating strategic matters to the Head of Marketing and Digital Strategy as appropriate.
Create, coordinate, and schedule tactical marketing content including ads, graphics, infographics, email assets, presentation decks, nurture emails, newsletters, landing page copy, social media content, sales collateral, blogs, video support materials, and other online mediums that support CCCC’s communication goals.
Manage our online community, The Green, where ministries connect with each other. You’ll foster activity by its users and seek to grow the number of people in the digital space.

You are motivated to support Christian ministries and want to help them fulfill their missions. You might have served on a board or volunteered in other ways, but you have a heart for service and doing important, meaningful work.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree in Business (marketing focus) or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience with proven understanding of marketing execution across email, social media, digital content, and creative production, coordinating with external agencies, creative partners, or vendors, and the ability to create and schedule a wide range of tactical marketing content
- Strong project management, organizational, and coordination skills
- Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Pardot, or similar platforms to support campaigns and audience workflows is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working with Christian charities; as an employee, professional service provider or as a volunteer.
- Deep knowledge of Christian faith, life, theology, and ministry practices as well as deep understanding of Christian motivations.
- Collaborates effectively and builds strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A foundational understanding of UI/UX design principles and tools is highly valued.
- Ability to gather and interpret basic marketing performance metrics
- Ability to analyze user feedback and activity to guide design enhancements.
- Competence in creating visually appealing and user-centered design solutions.
- Some knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP preferred.
- Continuous learner who has ability to grasp new concepts quickly and confidence in their ability to grow.
- Strong interest in serving people and solving problems.
- Agrees with CCCC’s Statement of Faith and Community Covenant.
COMPENSATION
Between $60 000 - $70 000, based on experience and how well you meet our qualifications.

LOCATION
This position will be designated as Hybrid or Remote based on your proximity to our Waterloo office. Those designated as Hybrid are generally given the flexibility to decide how often they would like to work at the office throughout the week, if at all.
